Heidesee (dpa / bb) - In summer temperatures, a forest fire broke out at Heidesee (Dahme-Spreewald) on Sunday.
The fire on an area of around 500 square meters was quickly extinguished by the fire brigade using around 12,000 liters of water, said a spokesman for the Lausitz regional control center.
However, the smoke on the Autobahn 12 in front of the Spreeau triangle caused visibility for a short time.

According to the Ministry of the Environment, there is currently only a low risk of forest fires in 12 of the 14 districts.
A medium risk only applies in the districts of Uckermark and Elbe-Elster.
