Aue (AP) - The dream start was followed by an embarrassing debacle: FC Erzgebirge Aue conceded a historic 3: 8 (2: 4) defeat in the home game against SC Paderborn on Sunday.
After the quick 2-0 lead through two goals from Dimitrij Nazarov (1st minute, 4th), the Saxons then fell apart completely and delivered a questionable performance.
Dennis Srbeny (10th, 73rd), Sven Michel (31st, 59th), Chris Führich (42nd / penalty), Martin Männel (45th + 1 / own goal), Christopher Antwi-Adjei (78th) and Chadrac Akolo (82nd) scored the goals for East Westphalia.
In the meantime, Nazarov (56th / foul penalty) shortened to 3: 4.
