Halle (dpa / sa) - In Halle, the city's law enforcement officers discovered a large number of violations of the Corona requirements on Friday evening.

"Mostly it was a gathering of young people who fled when the police arrived in many cases," said the city of Halle on Saturday.

28 reports resulted from the controls.

One complaint concerned the mask requirement in the city center, in one case a football field was used.

26 other reports would have affected gatherings of people, for example at Heidesee and in Südpark.

The so-called federal emergency brake is currently in force in Halle, because the seven-day incidence there is over 100. Among other things, this sets exit restrictions between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. According to the current contact restrictions, members of a household are only allowed to meet with one other person and the children belonging to their household. On Saturday, the Robert Koch Institute gave 109.3 for the city on the Saale. The trend is downward.

The city announced that daycare centers and after-school care centers will return to restricted regular operations from Monday.

In addition, shopping by appointment (“Click & Meet”) is allowed again from Monday.

In many cases, however, proof of a negative rapid test is necessary.

So that the residents of Halle can easily prove such a test, the city is introducing the “PassGo” system on Monday, which has been tested over the past few weeks.

The app is free for citizens as well as for businesses and organizers.

The pilot project should run until the end of May and an extension is planned.
