Nearly 30,000 people had registered for Saturday's university exam, which was the second exam in the spring.

According to the University and College Council, UHR, it was carried out without any major incidents.

- It is gratifying that the university entrance examination has been able to be carried out today despite the ongoing pandemic, says Peter Honeth, national coordinator for the university entrance examination in a press release.

When the pandemic struck in March 2020, the university entrance examination was canceled for the first time since it was introduced in 1977. This year's examination was divided into two occasions, on 13 March and 8 May, with 30,000 participants per occasion. Participants have been asked to use mouth guards and prior to the test, in the event of symptoms, it has been possible to cancel and have the registration fee refunded.
