Many Muslim women have managed to break the stereotype of veiled women in the West, and they have imposed their presence strongly in several fields.

In a report published by "glamourmagazine" magazine in its British version, writer Aisha Aleem reviews a number of success stories of veiled women in the media, sports, art and fashion.

Rafia, 40, a mother of 3, took the position thanks to her 17 years of legal experience.

Rafia had to prove her adherence to her Islamic identity on more than one occasion, as she had previously conducted an interview in order to obtain a scholarship and her family members advised her to remove the veil so that she would not face any problems, but she refused to give up her hijab and finally got a scholarship and continued her studies.

Rafia had dreamed of working in the judiciary from an early age, but she had doubts about the possibility of achieving her dream because of the veil, but she was able to break the barriers.

Today, it hopes to contribute to the consolidation of the climate of diversity in the field of work.

Belqis later founded the movement "MUSLIM GIRLS HOOP TOO", which aims to encourage Muslim girls to practice sports without giving up their identity.
