Löcknitz (dpa / mv) - A 57-year-old man hit a tree in his car in the municipality of Löcknitz in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district and was seriously injured.
Early on Friday evening, the driver was driving his car on federal highway 104 in the direction of Pasewalk, as the police announced on Saturday.
Shortly before leaving town, he had left the street for an initially unknown cause.
The man was taken to a hospital.
The property damage amounts to the information according to about 5000 euros.
The B104 was temporarily closed during the rescue work.
