Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - As expected, Markus Frank has been promoted to President of the Swabian Gymnastics Federation (STB).
The delegates on the digitally oriented STB-Turntag expressed their confidence in the 53-year-old previous Vice-President on Saturday, as the STB announced.
The interim solution had become necessary because the previous incumbent Wolfgang Drexler is in rehabilitation after a stroke.
"But it is also important to me that, as soon as it can be foreseen whether and when Wolfgang Drexler will be able to return, I will make my office available again and therefore hope for my term of office to be as short as possible," said Frank.
