Bad Schwalbach (dpa / lhe) - A 56-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a fall on Saturday morning on federal highway 54 near Bad Schwalbach.
As the police announced, the man was heading towards Taunusstein.
On a straight stretch, he probably lost control of the motorcycle due to excessive speed and fell onto the road.
The man had to be taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The motorcycle was totaled.
The federal highway had to be closed for around an hour and a half while the accident was being recorded.
Witnesses to the accident were asked to report to the police.
