Berlin / Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - In Saarland, another 167 infections with the corona virus were registered within one day.
This is based on data from the Berlin Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Saturday (as of 3:10 a.m.).
The nationwide seven-day incidence, i.e. the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week, fell to 106.3 from 113.3 the previous day.
According to the data from the RKI, three other patients died.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 967 deaths in connection with Covid-19 have been registered in Saarland and a total of 38 562 cases of infection.
Among the regions, the Saarbrücken regional association had the highest incidence with 128.4.
The value was lowest in the district of Sankt Wendel at 70.1.
