The 34-year-old showed and fired the weapon in several places on Friday, the police said.
Several passers-by then called the police.
The police found the alleged perpetrator and arrested him.
According to the police, his motive was initially unclear.
The 34-year-old is now to be brought to a psychiatric clinic.
The police asked witnesses who saw the man with the gun to report.
