With a minimum equity share of 1.5 billion euros, investments totaling 6 billion euros were made, the state administrative office announced on Friday.

With the money, for example, town centers could be made more attractive.

"The federal-state funding programs are of outstanding urban, social, economic, ecological and cultural importance in the old and new federal states," emphasized the president of the state administration, Thomas Pleye.
