  Among the six cases released by the Supreme People’s Procuratorate this time, there were husbands who abused their wives for a long time, guardians continued to beat and corporal punishment of minors, and there were also defendants who had suffered domestic violence for a long time and deliberately killed the perpetrator in a state of anger and fear to get rid of domestic violence. .

The charges in the case involved abuse, intentional injury, and intentional homicide.

  The head of the First Procuratorate of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China said in response to reporters that the release of these cases is not only to strengthen and guide the procuratorial organs to handle cases properly in accordance with the law, but also to carry out education warnings and publicity on the rule of law in typical cases.

  The person in charge emphasized that the prosecution must be accurate in determining the facts in handling the case, adopting evidence, and applying the law. It is not possible to handle the case with "heavenly mud". It is necessary to find out the facts and clarify the cause.

At the same time, if the methods of domestic violence are cruel or have serious consequences, and the perpetrators committing domestic violence for a long time or repeatedly due to bad habits such as alcohol and gambling, and the perpetrators constitute a crime, they must be severely punished and punished in accordance with the law.
