It is Väktarskolan in Boden that JK-reported the police.

Among other things, after a patrol did not take care of a man who was knocked out by one of Luleå's busiest streets - pissed off and with a white froth around his mouth.

Guard: "We see that we have broken"

The police are also criticized for leaving a person in hospital after a doctor has judged that the person does not need care.

The police believe that LOB, the law on the care of intoxicated persons, is a care law and the people do not need care - they can be left there.

The Chancellor of Justice believes that the police misinterpret the law.

- We of course take seriously the criticism that JK has directed at the police authority in Region North.

We see that we have broken in these two cases, says David Levy, officer on duty.

7,400 drunkenness cases last year

In 2020, the police handled 7,400 similar cases.

David Levy regrets that it has broken down in these two cases, but Väktarskolan in Boden believes that the handling has been going on for a long time and that it has gotten worse.

- It is of course regrettable that any external partner feels that there has been a deterioration.

But I do not share that view, says David Levy.
