Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The number of permits for new apartments in Baden-Württemberg rose significantly in the first quarter.
Between January and the end of March, 12,686 apartments were released for construction in new buildings to be built - that is an increase of 27 percent compared to the previous year, as the State Statistical Office announced on Friday in Stuttgart.
Regardless of the Corona crisis, residential construction in the southwest continues to pick up.
Last year, a total of 43,990 new apartments were approved - more than in previous years.
