The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, presented the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan for the Spanish economy to the King at the Zarzuela Palace on Friday.

Both the Royal House and Moncloa have reported the presentation of that plan first thing in the morning at the Palacio de la Zarzuela.

Sánchez has been accompanied by his four vice presidents: Carmen Calvo, Nadia Calviño, Yolanda Díaz and Teresa Ribera.

In addition to the presentation of the plan, the king has held a meeting with the chief executive and the four vice presidents in which he has been informed of the details of this document.

Sánchez has gone to the Zarzuela before traveling to Porto (Portugal) this Friday to participate in the social summit of the European Union, in which, among other matters, the initiatives for the recovery of the EU countries after the consequences caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan was approved last week by the Council of Ministers and sent to Brussels.
