Malian transitional president Bah N'Daw met Thursday in Bamako for the first time with the M5, a movement that contributed to the downfall of former president Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta.

The M5 spokesperson was very critical of the ongoing transition and called for a rectification.

In front of the president of the transition, the spokesperson of the M5 affirmed that the current regime is not going in the right direction, while the country is already weakened.

The M5 advocates a rectification.

Discussions between the two parties should continue through other channels, but the M5 claims to remain mobilized to obtain the change desired by the Malians.
