Berlin (dpa / bb) - A homeless man has saved himself from his burning tent in Berlin-Spandau.

The 49-year-old man was not injured, according to the police on Friday.

It is possible that the tent under the railway bridge on Stabholzgarten was set on fire, and the criminal investigation department was investigating.

Security guards of the railway noticed smoke under the bridge during the night and alerted the fire brigade.

She put out the fire.

The homeless man had noticed the fire himself while half asleep, but could not smother the flames with sand and water.
