Offenbach (dpa / lhe) - After a rather uncomfortable weather situation on Friday with thunderstorms and showers, the sun likes to show up at the weekend in Hesse.
Strong to stormy gusts and short thunderstorms initially move across the country on Friday, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced.
Sleet and gusts of up to 80 kilometers per hour are possible before the weather calms down a bit in the afternoon.
The maximum values are up to 13 degrees in the south.
On Saturday night there could be widespread ground frost at temperatures of up to minus three degrees.
As early as on Saturday, the weather service expects a little more sunshine when the clouds are cloudy.
In the course of the evening it could rain locally in the north.
The temperatures are between 14 and 19 degrees before they rise significantly again on Sunday.
The DWD said it would be “warm in summer” with highs between 25 and 28 in Hesse.
South Hesse could even reach 30 degrees in places on Sunday.
In addition, it stays dry, there is a moderate wind.
