Dresden (dpa / sn) - The fire brigade in Dresden has freed a marten from a garage.
The animal was stuck in the bottom shaft of a rain run on Thursday and could not come out by itself, as the fire department announced on Friday.
Local residents became aware of the animal and called the fire department.
The emergency services removed the grating from the shaft and rescued the marten from its precarious position.
The animal was then brought to the Great Garden in a box and released there.
