Egypt: 9 groups are exempt from the decision on the closing dates

Egypt began implementing Cabinet decisions regarding setting closing dates for a number of shops, starting from 9 pm, but there are 9 categories excluded from this decision.

The excluded groups are:

Restaurants and cafeterias located in hotel establishments, while adhering to the precautionary measures.

Groceries.

- Supply operator.

- Vegetable and fruit stores, meat, poultry, and fish stores.

Pharmacies.

- Super Market.

- Licensed wholesale markets, and work in them from nine o'clock in the evening to six o'clock in the morning is limited to the receipt and delivery of goods without dealing with the public.

Vehicles fueling machines.

- Quick maintenance centers at gas stations.

It is noteworthy that the Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, announced the closure of shops, malls, theaters and cinemas at 9 pm until May 20, as a precautionary measure to confront the Corona pandemic.
