Bochum (dpa / lnw) - A 31-year-old man was arrested after a chase in Bochum.
A police spokesman said on Friday that there had been an arrest warrant against him for over two years.
Accordingly, the man was driving his car in Bochum on Thursday evening when officials wanted to check him.
He then fled onto Autobahn 40 in the direction of Dortmund and took the exit again in Bochum-Hamme.
The 31-year-old then disregarded several traffic signs and damaged his car, he continued his escape on foot.
A helicopter was also used in the search.
A little later, the police stopped the man and arrested him.
