China News Service, May 7th. According to the website of the Chinese Embassy in the United States, on May 6, local time, Cui Tiankai, the Chinese Ambassador to the United States, said in a speech at the "Xinjiang is a Good Place" video conference that the United States and other Western countries are full of involvement. Xinjiang lies, systematic smear attacks and unilateral sanctions against China are popular.

These lies are simply vulnerable to the facts.

Cui Tiankai pointed out that when it comes to Xinjiang, we Chinese will say "Xinjiang is a good place."

However, this treasure land has been victimized by separatist forces, extremist forces, and violent terrorist forces for a long time. In particular, from 1990 to 2016, thousands of violent and terrorist incidents occurred there, injuring innocent people and causing huge losses.

In response to these, the Chinese government has adopted a correct and powerful policy of governing Xinjiang, addressing both the symptoms and the root causes to solve the problems. Now Xinjiang is once again enjoying a good situation of stable development.

In the past few years, more than 1,200 people from all walks of life in more than 100 countries have visited Xinjiang. Many self-media organizations are active in Xinjiang’s "street mining". Cui Tiankai said, "I myself have been there more than once, and I have witnessed the real and completely different Xinjiang as portrayed by Western politicians and media".

Cui Tiankai said that the sad thing is that the rumors do not stop at the truth.

Today, the United States and other Western countries are still full of Xinjiang-related lies, and systematic smear attacks and unilateral sanctions against China are popular.

These lies are simply vulnerable to the facts.

The so-called "genocide" is a big lie. The Uyghur population in Xinjiang has more than doubled in the past 40 years. Where is the "genocide"?

"Forced labor" is also nonsense.

Workers in Xinjiang choose occupations completely according to their own wishes, including high-income positions such as cotton picking, and sign labor contracts on an equal basis and voluntarily. All rights and interests are guaranteed and they also enjoy their own labor results.

If we say that getting rich through labor is "forced labor", is it that "forced poverty" and "forced unemployment" are what they deserve?

Cui Tiankai said, since the facts are very clear, why do some Western institutions and individuals under the guise of academics, relying on tampering, fabricating, and out-of-contextualizing can make a fuss and slander the market for a while?

Why do some American forces use Xinjiang-related issues to launch large-scale political rumors against China?

To put it bluntly, they want to use this as a starting point to bring down and divide China from within.

Some people are talking about "human rights in Xinjiang", but they are actually thinking about "using Xinjiang to control China."

It is their routine to make a "presumption of guilt" and then to "find" or even "create" evidence.

These people are not concerned with the truth, but with their own political schemes.

Some people claim to be out of their so-called "values."

I hope they will remember the "Four Freedoms" proposed by President Roosevelt.

Cui Tiankai pointed out that the hypocrisy of these people is: if they really believe in freedom of speech, why can they only allow themselves to spread rumors to confuse the public, but not allow others to tell the truth?

If they really believe in freedom of belief, why do they always want to launch "Crusades" against different religions and civilizations?

If they really believe in the freedom to be free from want, why undermine the efforts of people in other countries to escape poverty and seek development?

If they really believe in freedom from fear, why should they brag about terrorism and condone it to continue to harm the people?

To these people who harbor misfortunes, Cui Tiankai reiterated: Xinjiang affairs are China's internal affairs.

Xinjiang-related issues are essentially anti-terrorism, de-radicalization, and anti-separatism issues.

China will not sit back and watch external forces mess up Xinjiang, let alone allow it to split China and obstruct the historical process of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

The 1.4 billion Chinese people of all ethnic groups will never let such a scheme succeed.

Of course, many people have been deceived.

Wars caused by lies are not uncommon in history. The lies created by the United States and the West in Iraq, Libya, Syria and many other places have brought tragedies and sounded the alarm for the world.

For people who may be confused for a while, Cui Tiankai suggests to listen to what the 25 million people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang and 1.4 billion Chinese people say, and what those objective and rational scholars and media say, especially from other regions and countries, so as to identify the truth. False, distinguish right from wrong.

Finally, Cui Tiankai expressed that he hopes that you will seize today's rare opportunity to take a look at Damei Xinjiang and listen to the real Xinjiang with an open heart.
