World Vaccine Congress Names Best COVID-19 Vaccine

As noted by TASS, the drug of the American company Moderna won in the category "Best vaccine against COVID-19".

The Russian vaccine Sputnik V and a drug produced by the British-Swedish company AstraZeneca were shortlisted in the nomination.

It is noted that the vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech "received a very high rating."

Earlier, the Gamaleya Center and the Russian Direct Investment Fund said that the effectiveness of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine was 97.6% based on the analysis of data from 3.8 million vaccinated Russians.
