Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The German police union has shown itself to be completely disappointed with the domestic political plans in the coalition agreement between the Greens and the CDU.

"With this treaty, the government factions are well on their way to shaking the high level of trust in the police and the rule of law," said country chief Ralf Kusterer of the German press agency on Thursday.

The coalition agreement keeps explosives ready for the police.

Above all, Kusterer criticized the fact that the personnel and technical equipment of the police - like all other projects - is subject to budgetary reservations.

"People have been waiting for the vaccine for weeks, they may also wait for the police in the future."

He also criticized the planned anti-discrimination law and the mandatory labeling for police officers in large areas.
