"His condition is not bad, but also not very good," said coach Urs Fischer on Thursday in a digital press conference of the Bundesliga club before the game at VfL Wolfsburg.

After muscular problems, the 33-year-old attacking player “still has some catching up to do”, said Fischer.

The iron coach nevertheless hopes that Kruse will be “eligible for the squad” on Saturday (3:30 p.m. / Sky).
