The Gävleborg region is in a good position nationally in terms of the proportion vaccinated and phase 4 starts earlier than planned.
The vaccination booking is now open to people aged 18-39 in the risk group, as well as 55-59 years in the rest of the population.
This means that phase 4 has begun with the oldest age group.
- When the mass vaccination is now rolled out in order of age across the county to everyone, the pressure will be great on the Gävleborg Region, says the health and medical care committee's chairman Jan Lahenkorva (S) in a press release.
The region also asks residents to respect the order of priority and not to make an appointment if you do not belong to any of the groups that are being vaccinated now.
