Dresden (dpa / sn) - The Dresden public prosecutor has brought charges against a suspected fraudster.

The 61-year-old is accused of cheating on a property for 830,000 euros in August of last year, as the public prosecutor announced on Thursday in Dresden.

In addition, he is said to have defrauded the broker commissioned with the brokerage of the villa out of the agreed brokerage fee of 48,000 euros.

In connection with the fraudulent acquisition of the villa, which he was never able to and never wanted to pay, the man reportedly commissioned work from craftsmen.

He owed the electrician work to the value of around 8,700 euros and painting work to the value of around 14,000 euros for the renovation of the property.

In addition, the public prosecutor's office accuses him of having concluded a sales contract for a car in Hanover for a price of 100,000 euros.

The agreed handover to the accused did not take place because he had already been arrested.
