Serious crime is creeping down with age in Uppsala and now an extra effort is being made to prevent it.
The reason for choosing Sävja is that it is a socio-economically weaker district, and that for some time there have been problems with young people around Sävja cultural center.
The investment is a collaboration between the social committee and the culture committee, and means that SEK 3 million is spent on the Sävja project, which will run for two years.
The idea is that similar initiatives will then be implemented in several districts.
