06 May 2021 Worsening situation on European markets.

After the mixed opening of the American markets, the Ftse Mib is just above parity, + 0.01%.

London was also slightly positive, while Paris and Frankfurt turned negative. 



In Piazza Affari, banking stocks are always at the top of the list and in particular Unicredit, which earns more than 5% after a quarterly report that is better than expected.

The worst, on the other hand, is Tim (-5.7%), weighed down by rumors of a stop to the single network project.



Overseas, the Dow Jones gained 0.16%, while the Nasdaq lost 0.31%. It should be noted the strong losses of the pharmaceutical sector stocks and in particular of Moderna and Biontech, both down by more than 17% after the announcement by President Biden on the stop to patents on anti Covid vaccines. 


While on the government bond front, the spread between BTP and German bund continues to rise to 115 basis points. Yield of the Italian ten-year at 0.93%.
