This has been confirmed by his sister-in-law Lola Carretero, who was live on Telemadrid.
"He was getting vaccinated and has had a cardiac arrhythmia."
The socialist candidate is under "observation" awaiting diagnosis and most likely will spend tonight admitted to be under medical supervision.
Gabilondo was the head of the PSOE list in the elections to the Community of Madrid that were held this Tuesday.
An appointment in which the Socialists suffered a hit.
If in 2019 they were the first political force in votes, this time they were even surpassed by Más Madrid.
