Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, during talks with German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, said that the American administration was strongly opposed to the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced that the gas pipeline will be completed in 2021.
