There is a housing shortage in 210 of the country's 290 municipalities and it often hits young adults hard to enter the housing market. Mango Castello Dahlström moved to Stockholm almost two years ago but rents his apartment second hand and can lose his home at any time.
According to figures from the Tenants' Association, more and more people aged 20-27 live at home with their parents.
In 1997, the proportion was 15 percent and in 2019 it was 27 percent.
