Los Angeles (AP) - New supplies for fans of the fantasy series “Game of Thrones”: The US broadcaster HBO released the first set photos for the series “House of the Dragon” on Wednesday.

The filming of the prehistory of the successful series “Game of Thrones” (“GoT”) started at the end of April.

The photos show the actors Olivia Cooke and Rhys Ifans as Otto and Alicent Hightower, Emma D'Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen and Steve Toussaint as "The Sea Snake".

"House of the Dragon" is based on the book "Feuer und Blut" by US writer George RR Martin.

The story takes place around 300 years before the events of “GoT”.

The series about the Targaryen royal family is scheduled to air in 2022.

The eighth and final season of the award-winning fantasy saga "Game of Thrones" was broadcast in May 2019.

For eight years, “GoT” had captivated fans all over the world.
