The man caused a traffic accident on Tuesday and then fled on foot.
Shortly afterwards, police picked him up.
He gave the officers a reference to his dead partner, whose body the police officers subsequently found in their apartment.
According to the information, the first investigation confirmed the suspicion that the woman was violently killed.
The suspect should be brought before a judge on Wednesday.
