Berlin (dpa) - The jazz musician Till Brönner has taken the actor's protest #allesdichtmachen against the corona policy of the federal government in protection.

"You cannot assume that people like Ulrich Tukur or Jan-Josef Liefers have all drifted away, but rather be curious why they were part of the party," said the trumpeter and composer of the German press agency.

The criticism of the satirical clips had reached a level "that must be frightening human and not even shrink from death threats."

A debate about the question of what 50 undoubtedly democratic artists wanted to say has receded into the background behind the "absurd suspicion" of mocking the corona dead.

"Apparently there was no more room for democratic shades of gray and the clips alone owed the punchline a little, if we are honest," said Brönner, who will be 50 years old this Thursday (May 6th).

Dozens of film and television actors commented on the federal government's corona policy with ironic-satirical clips under the motto #allesdichtmachen.

After severe criticism and some approval from the right-wing camp, several participants have now distanced themselves from their contributions.

The landslide for culture was clearly not there, ”said Brönner.

Federalism has a communication and administration problem that has put an end to many cultural workers in the independent scene.

Aid had been approved at the federal level, but the disbursement did not work.

This is not worthy of Germany's reputation as a cultural nation.

"I'll stick with it," said Brönner.
