“The bodies of all those killed during the tragic events on the 12th metro line of the capital have been identified and handed over to their relatives,” the prosecutor’s office said on its Twitter account.
Among the victims was a 13-year-old child.
Three days of mourning has been declared in Mexico.
Earlier it was reported that a metro bridge with a train on it collapsed in Mexico City.
79 people were injured.
