Hamburg (dpa / lno) - A thunderstorm caused numerous fire services in Hamburg on Tuesday.

A large number of the operations involved fallen trees, fallen branches and loose roof or facade parts, as the fire department announced on Wednesday.

People weren't hurt.

The Hamburg fire brigade counted a total of 81 weather-related missions.

Storm depression "Eugen" also affected rail traffic.

During a deployment in the late afternoon, according to the information, a subway in the Alsterdorfer Straße area hit a fallen tree.

The tree was removed with the help of a chainsaw.

The rail traffic had to be interrupted.
