A man, who had been reported missing a few hours earlier, and his companion were placed under judicial supervision, awaiting trial, after the discovery of a cannabis crop at their home, report the Gard gendarmes.

On April 30, the gendarmes of Grau-du-Roi (Gard) were informed that this individual, reported as missing the day before, had just returned to his home.

On the spot, investigators found that the person was in good health.

A smell of cannabis

But the smell of cannabis caught the attention of the gendarmes inside the apartment.

"The search carried out at his home led to the discovery of two cannabis herb cultivation chambers," indicate the Gard gendarmes.

Forty plants of cannabis as well as the equipment necessary for the cultivation were seized.
