An annual study, published Tuesday by Pôle emploi, reveals that the year 2021 should see an increase in recruitment projects in companies.

After the health crisis and the trough of recent months, several sectors are in active research, in particular in the professions of health or home help.

After a year 2020 marked by a record drop in recruitments linked to the health crisis, 2021 should be the year of rebound.

Light certainly, but a rebound all the same.

This is in any case what suggests the annual survey, published Tuesday by Pôle Emploi, on manpower needs throughout France.

Because 2,723,000 recruitment projects are in fact planned, or 1.1% more than in 2019. Companies therefore intend to recruit.

Especially the small ones.

Two out of three hiring projects come from SMEs with less than 50 employees.

A sharp increase was recorded in particular in construction, health professions (nursing assistants, nurses) and home help professions.

In contrast, a decline is expected in the hotel and catering industry, artistic professions and socio-cultural activities, due to a health crisis.
