Trier (dpa / lrs) - Two people were slightly injured in a fire in a hospital in Trier.
As the police announced, a mattress had burned on Tuesday, 15 patients in a partially closed department had to temporarily leave the clinic.
Two of them suffered slight smoke inhalation.
Clinic employees could have put out the fire quickly, it said.
As initial findings suggest that the mattress was deliberately set on fire, the criminal police took over the investigation.
