The austerity demands in Borås schools have aroused great anger among parents.

And unusually many have protested by writing to the municipality.

"Cursed, angry, sad."

"The children will suffer."

"Listen to what your voters are shouting."

This is how some of the letter writers have formulated themselves.

It is the Social Democrats who, together with the Green Party, the Liberals and the Center Party, govern the municipality.

Now, together with the opposition parties the Left Party, the Christian Democrats and the Moderates, they have agreed to push for more money in school.

In the clip above, the chairman of the municipal board, Ulf Olsson (S), talks about why the money is coming now and how he sees the unrest that the planned savings have created.
