About 80 thousand people in Dagestan were left without electricity due to the accident

According to the ministry, a partial emergency power outage occurred in 12 municipalities.

At 07:00 PJSC Rosseti North Caucasus - Dagenergo introduced a special operating mode.

"In total, the shutdown includes: 12 municipal districts, 54 settlements, 79,821 people, 24,098 children, 16,381 houses, 120 socially significant objects," the message says.

Earlier, the Ministry of Energy said that the accident rate of Russian power grids since the beginning of this year has grown by 4.2% compared to last year.
