Berlin (dpa / bb) - In a traffic accident in Berlin-Lichtenberg, two siblings aged seven and nine were caught in a taxi.

The seven-year-old came to hospital on Monday with leg injuries, the nine-year-old with head injuries for inpatient treatment, the police announced on Tuesday.

According to a police spokesman, there was no danger to life.

According to initial findings, the children on Landsberger Allee are said to have run out from behind two trucks standing on the edge of the road and ran onto the street at a crossing point.

They are said to have been hit by a 41-year-old driver's taxi.
