Bremen (AP) - After the violent death of a 25-year-old woman, the murder trial against her husband at the time was interrupted on Tuesday.
The public prosecutor's office accuses the man of stabbing his wife to death in their shared apartment in Bremen at the end of October 2020.
According to the indictment, he is said to have killed her insidiously and for low motives (Ref .: 21Ks 280Js 71 280/20).
Since the defendant trembled severely on the second day of the hearing and appeared at times absent, the defense attorney refrained from reading out a statement from his client.

The presiding judge began by questioning a witness who worked as a police officer after the crime.
She described how upset the man was at the time.
Accordingly, he said that he stabbed his wife with the knife.

According to the indictment, the man is said to have stabbed his wife 14 times - in the back, neck and neck area.
The 25-year-old died within minutes.

Since the accused trembled and looked very restless during the questioning of the policewoman, the presiding judge interrupted the hearing.
