Hamburg (dpa / lno) - A burning mattress and other rubbish on a balcony triggered a fire service in Hamburg-Lohbrügge on Tuesday night.
As the fire department announced, the objects on the balcony of an apartment on the fifth floor of an apartment building caught fire.
The resident had already left the apartment independently.
The rest of the building was also evacuated.
One man had to be treated for smoke inhalation, another resident suffered a faint attack.
However, both could be supplied on site.
The fire was quickly brought under control and the residents were allowed to return to the building.
