EU starts evaluating Chinese vaccine against coronavirus Vero Cell

“The EMA Human Medicines Committee has begun a rolling review process for the COVID-19 Vaccine (Vero Cell) Inactivated vaccine developed by Sinovac Life Sciences,” it said.

On April 10, it was reported that China approved its sixth own vaccine against coronavirus infection and the third drug developed by the national pharmaceutical company Sinopharm for clinical trials.

Currently, four vaccines are authorized centrally across the European Union: from Pfizer / BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.
