Vancouver (AP) - The national ice hockey players Leon Draisaitl and Dominik Kahun are in the NHL playoffs with the Edmonton Oilers after a 5-3 win at the Vancouver Canucks.
Record scorer Draisaitl provided the templates for the first and last goal, Kahun scored with a solid shot to make it 4: 2 and his seventh goal of the season.
The Canucks, who did without Marc Michaelis, received a setback for their playoff hopes through the defeat.
Tim Stützle was also able to record a victory in the Canada Division, the Ottawa Senators won 2-1 against the Winnipeg Jets.
The Minnesota Wild around Augsburg's Nico Sturm turned a 3: 5 with three goals in the last third to a 6: 5 against the Vegas Golden Knights in the duel of the already qualified teams from the West Division.
Philipp Grubauer was also able to celebrate a comeback victory with the Colorado Avalanche.
The Avalanche turned the interim 2: 4 against the San Jose Sharks into a 4: 4 in the last third and won the game 5: 4 in overtime.
There was an insignificant victory for the playoff scenarios for the Buffalo Sabers at 4-2 against the already qualified New York Islanders.
The Sabers already have no chance.
