Rostock (dpa / mv) - In an overtaking accident on Autobahn 19 near Rostock, two drivers were injured.
According to the police, a 55-year-old wanted to overtake a truck on Monday.
He overlooked another car that was already in the fast lane.
The 32-year-old driver of this car tried to avoid a collision - but to no avail.
Both car drivers were taken to hospitals.
All vehicles involved in the accident suffered damage totaling around 225,000 euros.
In addition, the truck's tank tore, causing about 150 liters of diesel to leak out.
Due to the large debris field and the cleaning work, the motorway is fully closed until further notice.
