Germany intends to exempt those vaccinated against Corona from presenting the test certificate to enter the country

Today, Monday, German Minister of Health, Jens Young, said that the German government intends to exempt incoming travelers who have completed their vaccination against Corona from presenting a negative test certificate to enter the country.

The minister, belonging to the German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the Christian Democrat party, explained that the members of the Council of Ministers concerned with the Corona crisis discussed an amendment on this issue in the decree on entering the country.

Young men added that a draft of this amendment is expected to be presented this week, and mentioned that a digital certificate of vaccination could be issued by doctors' clinics, vaccination centers and pharmacies as well, pointing out that these cards could be issued next summer.
