Mainz (AP) - Bayern conqueror FSV Mainz 05 goes into the Bundesliga catch-up game against Hertha BSC with four new players in the starting line-up.

Despite the recent 2-1 coup against the record champions from Munich, coach Bo Svensson swapped a quartet for the important game on Monday evening (6 p.m.).

Stefan Bell, Dominik Kohr, Jean-Paul Boetius and Adam Szalai have been there from the start.

Alexander Hack, Danny Latza, Robin Quaison and Jonathan Burkhardt sit on the bench first.

“I have a very good squad - it's hard for me as a coach to decide who really fits.

That's my perception of who fits best for this game, ”said Svensson before the kick-off on Sky TV.

For the Berliners, who are playing their first game after two weeks of corona quarantine, there are two changes compared to the 2-2 draw against Borussia Mönchengladbach on April 10th.

Sami Khedira and Luca Tousart replace Santiago Ascacibar and Dodi Lukebakio.

"Sami is an extended arm of the coach," said Hertha coach Pal Dardai before the start of the game, "he can really give us help on the pitch."

Looking at the past few weeks, the Hungarian was satisfied despite the difficult conditions.

"We got the maximum out of it," emphasized Dardai.

Nevertheless, he announced that he would first want to ask at halftime who could continue playing.
